Brownies are a great item to make before the big day, be it a reception or a shower.

Ingredients for these Brownies are quite simple to put together. The dry ingredients can be mixed and stored in the fridge for a few days, then all one has to do is mix in the apple sauce before baking.

3/4 cup cocoa powder.

1/2 cup brown sugar.

1/2 cup sugar.

1 cup flour.

1 tsp of baking soda.

1 cup milk powder.

2 cups unsweetened applesauce.

Grease a 7 x 12 inch baking tray.

Combine all the dry ingredients (Cocoa powder, Sugar, Flour, Baking soda and Milk powder).

Add the apple sauce and stir well until mixture a well combines.

Pour the batter into the baking tray and spread evenly.

Bake for 25-30 minutes in a preheated oven to 350 degrees.

Do not over bake.

Once cooled, cut the Brownies into squares.

No one can resist these delectable moursels.

Who would say no to homemade brownies at an outdoor wedding reception. Also great as a picnic food, one only needs a napkin to serve them.
