How to make a fruit salad, simple and easy

Fruit salads are a great food for outdoor weddings.

These can be prepared in many ways, depending on the fruits that are available at the time of your wedding.

Quite often I’ve had a simple apple dish, that consists of sliced apples, raisins, cinnamon and brown sugar with a bit of lemon juice to keep the apples a nice color. It’s actually quite tasty.

Another great one is Ambrosia fruit salad.

This recipe is a nice one to try.

All you need is a big bowl.

pineapple chunks (canned chunks or fresh cut ) 6 medium oranges ( peel and separate sections then cut them in half)

4 bananas ( peel and slice)

2 TB spoons of lemon juice ( mix well with fruit to keep it’s color)

2 cup mini marshmallows - optional

1 cup sweet shredded coconut.

Add 2 cups of whipped cream ( just sweetened to taste.) Toss all the ingredients together.

Cover and store in the fridge.
